Our Training Process

1 - Initial Evaluation and Student Orientation

Before starting the program, an informational session is held where the course content, objectives, and the competencies the student will develop are explained.

Vocational and technical guidance is provided so the student understands the professional scope of the HVAC field and the career opportunities available.

2 - Theoretical Fundamentals of the HVAC System

Students begin with a solid foundation of knowledge on refrigeration principles, applied electricity, thermodynamics, and HVAC system components.

Different system types (residential, commercial, split, central, mini-split, etc.) and their general operation are studied.

The goal is for the student to understand how system components interact in order to diagnose problems logically and technically.

3 - Hands-On Training in Diagnostics and Repair

In this phase, students work directly with real equipment in our specialized workshops.

They learn to use measurement tools, gauges, leak detectors, multimeters, and other technical instruments.

Diagnostic procedures, repair of electrical and mechanical components, parts replacement, and refrigerant leak correction are practiced.

Instructors guide each practice step by step, replicating real fieldwork scenarios.

4 - HVAC System Installation and Startup

Students learn how to perform full installations: from planning and unit placement to electrical wiring, piping, and refrigerant charging.

Topics such as safety, regulations, energy efficiency, and best installation practices are covered.

This stage allows students to develop the technical skills needed to perform residential and commercial projects professionally.

5 - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

Students are trained to carry out scheduled maintenance, component cleaning, thermostat calibration, and performance adjustments.

They learn to identify signs of wear, prevent failures, and keep systems in optimal condition.

6 - Final Evaluation and Certification

At the end of the program, the student completes theoretical and practical exams to demonstrate the knowledge acquired.

Once passed, Electro Rey Training Center awards the HVAC Technician Certification, endorsed by Fiago HVAC Services LLC, which certifies the graduate’s professional readiness to enter the job market.
